Last Sunday Shanna and I decided to finally get up and actually look for that apartment we've been fantasizing about. We went to Ridgewood to look around and saw a Weichert Realtors office, so we stopped in, and were shown this adorable apartment in a two-family house in Midland Park. It was perfect. Not expensive. With everything nearby. And a sexy little fireplace. Throughout the week I tried to contact the realtor to get some more information from her about this place. After she didn't respond to my voicemail or my e-mail, I called and just spoke to somebody else in the office, hoping she could be the one to give me some information. Since the stupid other woman never got back to me, the place was rented to somebody else. It's gone. Damn that bitch.
I'm bummed.
Now to start over again in our quest to move the hell out of our parents' houses. |

I'm watching Night of Too Many Starts on Comedy Central, and the Blue Man Group was on. I decided to look them up on iTunes. iTunes seems to classify most of their music as Electronic. I though that was funny because the last time I checked, PVC pipes and antique Hungarian dulcimers are not electronic.
But now the channel is being all stupid and digital-like and crap. Poo. |

Complete and total nerdiness occurred last night. I went to Applebee's with Shanna and Sarah, and Shanna and I decided to test out the wifi on our DSes. So in the middle of Applebee's, us two grown women whipped out our DSes and played Mario Party together for about five minutes. It was glorious. We're gonna have to find a time one day just for that.
And then my coworker quit this morning. I'm gonna miss him. But someone will have to take over his job of inconspicuously placing stickers on everyone's backs and giggling while they wait for them to notice :P |

I love how Facebook and Myspace are trying so hard to be each other. First it was facebook with letting everyone join and with adding all those dee dee dee applications (a few of which, I admit, I am guilty of having), now it's Myspace with their new status updates.
Went to Six Flags with camp today. It was ok, but I really need to go back for real so I can actually go on all the good rides. Any takers? Gotta wait till I have money though.... |

I saw Oceans 13 yesterday and it was really good, even though I haven't seen 11 or 12...though I did see the original Oceans 11 but that was a while ago and I didn't remember much about it. Then last night I was playing slots and I won the jackpot of around $22,000...I had all these plans about what I'd spend it on - my credit card bill, school loans, new clothes - then I woke up and realized it was just a dream and that I'm still broke. Oh well, a woman can dream, right? That camp job can't start soon enough.... |
